When I took this stock image set I had come to the realization that some of the African app developers I know had been struggling to find authentically African stock images of people using phones. My one friend wanted to use such images to promote his app here in Africa and many others had the same challenge. Where could they get African stock images of African hands using or holding a smart phone. I cases like these its not uncommon to find competing brands that use the same stock model or stock photograph to market their competing products.
I decided to add this image set to give everyone more choices. More models holding different phones will be coming in the future.
